Kavita Gohil
Biography
Kavita, an artist at heart inspired from childhood by her parents. Her father, who encouraged curiosity and creativity and her mother, a trained Hindustani classical sitar artist who filled their home with music and artistic spirit.
Her love for art began at age 2, surrounded by a world of colors, music and encouragement to explore. While earning her master’s in mathematics, she also studied organic chemistry, which deepened her fascination with the chemistry of colors and materials. After moving to the U.S., she trained at the Museum of Fine Arts (Boston) and learned web design at Massachusetts College of Art and Design. She has been working in Quality Control in the biomedical field for nearly a decade.
She believes art and science go hand in hand. Alongside her professional journey, she has been sharing her love of art with children for many years, nurturing creativity across ages. Her work spans semi-abstract, still life, and 3D art using acrylics, oils, charcoal and pastels.
An active member of local art communities, she exhibits and contributes to charity events, continuing her journey of creating and inspiring. She is passionate about cultivating creativity, discovering beauty in the everyday and inspiring others to see the world through an artistic lens.
