Founder's Message

Kalakruti is an association of artists of Indian origin from the New England area. Founded in 2010 the organization was created with a vision to bring together artists from the Indian community at a time when there were few platforms dedicated to showcasing and supporting their creative endeavors.

Our goal has always been to foster a vibrant artistic community where members can connect, inspire one another, share ideas, and grow together while pursuing their creative passions in their adopted homeland. Over the years, Kalakruti has become a welcoming space for artists from diverse professional, cultural, and artistic backgrounds, united by a common love for art and creative expression.

Our members work across a wide range of media, including acrylics, oils, watercolors, mixed media, ceramics, sculpture, and other three-dimensional art forms. This diversity of styles, techniques, and perspectives enriches our collective experience and reflects the dynamic spirit of our community.

Through exhibitions, workshops, and collaborative initiatives, Kalakruti strives to celebrate artistic excellence, promote cultural exchange, and provide opportunities for artists to share their work with a broader audience. We take pride in nurturing creativity, building meaningful connections, and preserving the rich artistic heritage that inspires us while embracing new ideas and contemporary forms of expression. We are involved in various nonprofits at individual and collective levels.
